We finally found your family!! My father in law-now deceased-served with Don in the Marines! We have what we believe Don gave to Elmer long ago-the Hells Gate poster framed in our living room, I wish we could have contacted Don before his death. Elmer lived in Superior, WI but was signed up for the Marines in Mikwaukee, WI.
His son is Gerard S Basley-we live in Elmers former home, my name is Nancy. We still have polaroid photos that were Elmers from battle grounds, and other items he gathered whilst in the Marines-how interesting! gnbasley@charter.net
